Ask Us
Is there an elevator to the balcony?
There is NOT an elevator to the Mainstage balcony. Please be aware that
access to balcony seating in the Mainstage theatre requires the use of stairs.
There is an elevator in the Mainstage to access the cross-aisle in the
orchestra seating section where there are assigned spaces for wheelchairs.
I use a wheel chair. How can I access
the Center for the Arts?
Sidewalks and parking lots were renovated in 2007 to
include wheelchair ramps and more wheelchair accessible
parking. The front doors of the Center for the Arts are on
level with the sidewalk, and an automatic door can be opened on either side of
the main doors by pressing the red button.
Accessible seating areas are solely for disabled patrons and their
companions. Tickets are available by clicking the "Request
Accessible Tickets" on the Ticketmaster website, calling Ticketmaster
at 1-800-745-3000 and speaking to a representative, or by calling the
Center Box Office at (716) 645-ARTS, then dial "0" for a representative.
By purchasing an accessible seating ticket, you agree to the following: The
ticket will be used only by a disabled person and his/her companion. A ticket
holder may be denied entry to, or removed from, the accessible seating area if
he or she is not disabled or the legitimate companion. If this occurs, the
venue shall have no obligation to provide alternate seating.
At the performance, patrons should please contact one of our friendly ushers to
operate the elevator and direct them to the seating area.
How may I borrow an assisted listening device at a performance?
Please inquire for an assisted listening device at coat check or with one of
our ushers. The attendant will ask for a driver's license or other
valid form of ID to hold until you return the device at the end of the
performance.
When is the building open?
The Center for the Arts is open to the public Monday - Saturday, 7am -
11pm; and Sunday, 11am - 11pm. Business hours for the main administrative
office are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm.
The Box Office is open Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm and one hour prior to each
performance. All University parking lots require a
parking tag Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm. For your
convenience, 15 minute parking is generally available in the traffic loop in
front of the Center without a parking pass.
Do you have a "Lost and Found?"
Visitors may check in the Main Office, Room 103, during regular business hours,
Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, regarding lost items, or they may
phone the main office at (716)645-6259. They may also check with Campus
Police's Lost and Found at (716) 645-2227.
Where are the restrooms located?
Public restroom entrances are located in the Atrium opposite the theater
entrances; men's rooms are closer to the stairs and ladies' rooms are closer to
the Mainstage. Additional restrooms are located in the
basement level near the main staircase, also accessible by the nearby
elevator.

advance of the performance they will be attending. Parking will
be reserved for buses in the Stadium lot. If you are attending the
performance in private vehicles, you may park in either Lake La Salle Lot or Alumni Lots B & C. You will
not need special hang tags for parking in these lots as special arrangements
have been made to accommodate those attending the performance. If any
private vehicle is parked in any other lots, it may be ticketed.
Where will my bus park when I coordinate a large group?
School groups will be sent a letter specifying bus parking policies due to the
nature of the weekday performances. Large groups of 15 or
more should coordinate ticket purchases and/or bus parking
arrangements in advance by calling (716) 645-6771.
What are the parking policies at the University?
