Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy are two of the world's most celebrated fiddlers. They also happen to be married. Together, Natalie and Donnell meld their virtuosities into a whirlwind of fiddle-driven music, dance, and song, combining the best of French, Celtic, American Bluegrass and Cajun styles and making it their own.  Joined by two highly-acclaimed pianists, MacMaster and Leahy treat their audiences to a show that includes foot-tapping rave-ups, heart-wrenching ballads, and world-class step dancing.

Known for her flamboyant skill and trademark step dancing, MacMaster has won a multitude of awards for her Cape Breton-style of fiddling. She has collaborated and performed with the likes of Luciano Pavarotti, Paul Simon, Béla Fleck, Allison Krauss, and Carlos Santana.  MacMaster's other half is equally impressive. The son of a fiddle-playing father and a champion step-dancing mother, Donnell Leahy is widely acclaimed for his agility on the fiddle.  The husband and wife duo have won a multitude of awards and often perform as many as 250 shows a year.

"As MacMaster played and danced, bow and feet moving in tandem, the jigs, reels and waltzes flowed from the ensemble with deceptive ease...  The end result was a concert where the musicians took the audience to a different place.  And when you get right down to it, isn't that why folks go to concerts in the first place?" - Garaud MacTaggart, The Buffalo News
