5,6,7,8, Countdown to Celebration 40

 $20, $10 students & seniors

Directed by: Tom Ralabate & Tressa Gorman-Crehan - Countdown to Celebration 40 concludes the 39th season of Zodiaque Dance Company (ZDC) as they continue to get closer to their milestone 40th anniversary.  ZDC has established itself as a university constant that nurtures pre-professional dance training of its student members,  provides support for emerging dance artists, and space and opportunities for established choreographers who wish to explore, create, and push the boundaries of making dances.

For this countdown concert, the diversity of motion and innovative programming will be captured by eight distinguished choreographers, further expanding the company's eclectic repertoire.  This concert's choreographers are:  Nailah Bellinger, international choreographer and teaching artist at Harvard University; Bill Evans, international dance icon; Jon Lehrer, artistic director of LehrerDance; Sam Kenney, faculty member SUNY Fredonia; UB alumna and master teacher Gina Pero, and UB faculty members Tressa Gorman Crehan, Joyce Miller Lichtenberger, and Kerry Ring.  This year, the Company salutes 13 distinguished senior graduates featured in our ZDC signature bow closing.
