Buffalo Spree Magazine Best of WNY 2011 Award

Buffalo, NY- The Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo has been awarded "Best Large Music Venue" in Buffalo Spree magazine's Best of WNY 2011 Awards. The sixth annual awards were presented at an event on June 23rd and appear in the July-August 2011 issue of Buffalo Spree. The Best of WNY Awards are chosen by panels of local experts and reader votes in a wide variety of categories.

Tom Burrows, Executive Director of the Center for the Arts states, "While it is but one genre represented in our diverse programming, we are very pleased with the community response to our music presentations. World-class performers coupled with a theater with comfortable seating, great sightlines, and outstanding acoustics have proven to be a formula for success. We are pleased to receive this special recognition."
