How can I support the Center?

In addition to buying tickets for performances, there are several ways you can support the work of the Center.

Of course you can make an outright gift by check (payable to Center for the Arts), cash, or credit card, by mail directly to the Center for the Arts:

You can also make a gift by using your credit card on-line via secure server.

SHOP! That’s right, shop! Visit www.IGive.com and find over 680 of your favorite stores. All you have to do is choose the Center for the Arts as your “Cause” and a percentage (up to 26%) of every purchase you make through www.IGive.com will be donated back to the Center to support our outreach efforts.

Through the University at Buffalo Foundation, you can transfer a gift of stock and designate the amount of sale to support the work of the Center for the Arts, Please contact a Foundation representative at(716) 645-3013.

The Center for the Arts also welcomes gifts in-kind, primarily if the item(s) being donated are a current need of the Center staff and programs. For example, if you are associated with or own a restaurant, the Center would graciously accept a donation of prepared food for use during our Explore the Arts Summer Youth Program. This would amount to a huge savings for the Center.

Please support the Center’s fundraising events. Your patronage to these events not only helps us raise much needed funds in support of our work, it also helps us spread the word in the community about the great work we are doing both on stage an in the region.

Host a “House Party”. Many of our friends in the community have offered to host a gathering of their friends in order to raise awareness about the mission and activities of the Center. While you offer a choice of food and beverages to your friends and colleagues in a location of your choosing, also ask them to support the Center with a financial contribution.

Most importantly, we ask that in supporting the work of the Center, you act as an ambassador for the Center for the Arts in this community and beyond. By sharing what you have come to appreciate in what the Center has to offer, you will help us spread the word and allow others in the community to be a part of the this amazing institution!
