Arts in Healthcare Clinical Practice
Monday, August 2 To Friday, August 13
The Arts in Heathcare Clinical Practice Intensive at the Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo is for professionals and students who want to explore the arts in healthcare environment and would like to develop or deepen their arts in healthcare practice.
• Introductory and Advanced Clinical Practice Sections available
• Explore the application of visual, performing and literary arts in the healthcare setting through hands-on workshops and clinical observation / practice
• Daily sessions on the history, application and foundations of the arts in healthcare field
• In depth investigation and discussion of current practice supported by recent research and theory
• Discover and deepen your arts in healthcare practice through work with the Artists in Residence of the Center for the Arts, Arts in Healthcare Initiative
• Sessions led by Jill Sonke, University of Florida Center for the Arts in Healthcare and the Artists in Residence of the Center for the Arts, AIH Initiative
Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Total cost for the two week program is $850 for professionals and $750 for students. Scholarships are available; see form below for details.
