Acclaimed Elvis impressionists Scot Bruce (’50s Elvis), Mike Albert (’70s Elvis), and the Big “E” Band return by overwhelming demand with their holiday show!
While pursuing music and acting as a career, Scot Bruce started doing a 1950’s era Elvis show. What was meant as a part-time “gig” blossomed into a full time career. Because of his uncanny resemblance and performance as the young “King” his live show has taken him across the U.S. and all over the world.
Mike Albert’s show has become known worldwide for the respectful portrayal of the later period Elvis Presley. Mike won several major world “Elvis” contests, and demand for his shows resulted in putting together a seven piece Big “E” Band, to emulate the sound Elvis’ band had in the Vegas shows and on tour.
“…Bruce hit the stage in full 1950s Elvis garb - blood-red jacket, black button-down shirt, white tie and shiny, two-tone shoes. And from the opening tune, the Carl Perkins classic “Blue Suede Shoes,” it was clear that his vocal mimicry was going to be even more convincing than his looks. Bruce delivered every word in Presley’s honeyed tenor, trembling at just the right moments and never getting cartoonish.” - The Buffalo News, February 2009

Any discussion of Buddy Guy invariably involves a recitation of his colossal musical resume and hard-earned accolades. He’s a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a chief guitar influence to rock titans like Hendrix, Clapton, Beck, and Vaughan, a pioneer of Chicago’s fabled West Side sound, and a living link to that city’s halcyon days of electric blues.
Buddy has received five Grammy Awards, 23 W.C. Handy Blues Awards (the most any artist has received), the Billboard Magazine Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement, and the Presidential National Medal of Arts.
Yet despite this long list of achievements, Buddy Guy and his music remain as vital as ever.
