Real Time

Real Time creates a monthly salon in the atrium of UB Center for the Arts to foster a dialogue among UB and Buffalo artists with contemporary artists from the Rust Belt, as a kind of artistic exchange program, enabling cross-pollination between disciplines, sensibilities and cities.

A partnership between UB Arts Collaboratory, Buffalo Institute of Contemporary Art and Kyla Kegler (MFA '17), Real Time will help develop selected works-in-progress and provide appropriate funding to realize works. Visiting artists will assist in catalyzing new work, provide critiques of selected projects and offer an expansion of the creative network beyond Buffalo and Western New York.

Planned for March 4, April 15, and May 5 at the Center for the Arts from 4:30-7:30 p.m., with each salon continuing in a social manner at off-site venues in the city of Buffalo.
