Annie Bielski (MFA ’19) is featured during the final week of FAIR by New Art Dealers Alliance, a new art fair initiative that functions cooperatively, acting as a benefit for NADA’s community artists, nonprofits and galleries. Bielski's painting, Copycat, is made up of antique linen embroidered fabric sewn to a contemporary polyester print and canvas. The painted forms, lines, and visible seams playfully mimic the forms and lines of each original fabric. The painting stretches taut in some places and looser in others creating tension within the frame.

Friday, June 19: Outside Influence with ToneyBoi
Outside Influence is a show about hip-hop artists and the things that influence them outside of their genre. Hosted by ToneyBoi, one of Buffalo’s most well-known hip-hoppers. Toney—a member of the collectives Koolie High and Art Dealer—has graced the Buffalo hip-hop scene for more than 10 years working and performing with artists such as Smoke DZA and Raekwon the Chef of Wu Tang Clan. For the inaugural episode, Toney will sit down with Billboard-charting producer, Camoflauge Monk, to explore what makes his process unique. Monk will share insights into what made him want to become a producer, his path to success, influences, and more.
