Monday, July 27: How Now Show, Season 2, Episode 2
Season 2 of How Now continues, featuring a conversation about satire and facts in political cartoons with Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist Adam Zyglis. Host Kevin Cain also checks in with Ana Vafai (aka Little Cake) about what she has been cooking up during quarantine and what is next in store for her. Little Cake contributed a short film back in April, Welcome to Little Cake, to the Arts Collaboratory’s IGTV channel. Wednesday, July 29: Artist Spotlight: Hayley Carrow-Janecki
Hayley Carrow-Janecki brings us to her studio in South Buffalo. When we asked her what her greatest hope for the future is she said, “For human beings to show each other respect and dignity no matter what: economic status, gender, profession, race, sexual orientation.” Hayley is a talented painter and runs a small home shop on Elmwood Avenue. Ró is a hub for delightfully designed, unique pieces of furniture, housewares and art to create a sanctuary out of your home. 


Friday, July 31: Outside Influence, Episode 4
Outside Influence is a show about hip hop artists and their influences outside of the hip hop genre. Hosted by ToneyBoi, who has graced the Buffalo hip hop scene for more than ten years working and performing with artists such as Smoke DZA and Raekwon the Chef of Wu Tang Clan. On this week’s episode, Toney interviews Buffalo’s own wordsmith Jae Skeese. Skeese chats with Toney about his love of art and working on expanding his talents as a visual artist. He also discusses his pursuit of identifying his purpose and having a message in his art. Tune in to find out what makes Jae Skeese the talented artist that he is!
