Join us for an evening with Grammy and Brit Award-winning artist Joss Stone as part of her Less Is More tour, coming to the UB Center for the Arts on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025. This special performance offers audiences an intimate night of stripped-back arrangements and the dynamic vocals that have inspired fans around the world.
Since the release of her breakthrough debut album, The Soul Sessions, at just 16 years old, Joss Stone has mesmerized audiences with her powerhouse voice and soulful, genre-blending style. Over the past two decades, she has released nine studio albums, sold more than 15 million copies worldwide, and earned acclaim for her extraordinary vocal range, spanning mezzo-soprano and contralto.
Stone’s celebrated career includes collaborations and performances with music legends such as Stevie Wonder, Sting, Van Morrison, Gladys Knight, Herbie Hancock, Jeff Beck, Mick Jagger, and Damian Marley. Her music has been streamed over one billion times in the U.S. alone.
Stone’s love for music began early in her childhood in England. She recalls her first album, Aretha Franklin: Greatest Hits, received at age 10, sparking a lifelong connection to soul music. “I kind of clicked into soul music more than anything else because of the vocals," she told MTV News. "You’ve got to have good vocals to sing soul music, and I always liked it ever since I was little.”
Recently, Stone released her eighth studio album, Never Forget My Love (2022), created with Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart. She followed this with her 20 Years of Soul anniversary tour and live album in 2023, the Ellipsis Tour in 2024, and her latest single, "Loving You," in August 2024. A new studio album is expected in 2025.
A $1 portion of each ticket sale benefits The Joss Stone Foundation, which works with a global network of charities in 200 countries.
