Nando Alvarez-Perez is an artist, curator and writer. His photo-based installations have been exhibited at Silver Eye Center for Photography in Pittsburgh, Penn., at Material Art Fair in Mexico City and Untitled Art Fair in San Francisco, and at the Drake Hotel in Toronto among others. He is the co-founder and director of the Buffalo Institute for Contemporary Art and the co-founder and editor-in-chief of Cornelia Magazine. Nando has worked as a creative lead at Airbnb and taught at the California College of the Arts, Alfred University and the University of Rochester. He holds a master's degree in fine arts from the San Francisco Art Institute and a bachelor's degree in film studies from Hunter College.
